Justin+Dacie: MARRIED | Syracuse, NY – August 21ST

Another amazing wedding…

Wedding took place at the local Burnet Park Zoo…a place where different kinds animals are brought together from across the world, a perfect place to symbolize that we as people are scattered & brought together from all across the world & the zoo is a place that shows us this resemblance.

The wedding was a blast…everyone had soo much fun & it was so exciting to see this couple saying their vows to each other! I think everyone would agree that they were soo much in love & everyone was excited for them, even the lions were roaring for Justin & Dacie.

The reception took off with the first dance & then party all night long. Everything was perfect…every detail was well thought through; all the planning & patience finally paid off…Justin & Dacie were finally married!

It was a pleasure and I am soo fortunate to have been able to capture these moments for Justin & Dacie. Thanks guys!

Paul+Tanya: MARRIED | Utica, NY – August 15TH

As I look at some of my previous weddings, I see myself mastering photography in many ways I never thought of before.
Also, each day, I continue to master in editing in ways I never thought possible.
-
A lot of time, effort, & money goes into research and be able to learn, love & do what you are capable of is anyones dream.
Over the years, I have spent not only time but I inevested in soo much to develop my skill & my style…
-
Now, I understand why it has to cost soo much to be able to hire a professional to come
& capture every moment and every detail of someones memories.
Everyone doesn’t just want quality work but be able to go back & re-live the moments when they look through those image
- re-live not to a point where they just remember but re-live to a point where they go back & feel & not let go of those memories.
-
A friend has just recently told me “if someone wants to capture some memories & a photographer
is not the most expensive investment, they are going to miss a lot & they will regret it”.
-
It not only takes heart & skill to get into photography & be as creative to capture moments
but it also requires a lot of time, patience, & knowledge to finalize the end product  - “the editing”…
I continue in mastering in editing so that these images will be transformed into something we can look back, enjoy & remember…
-
Take a look at some of the images below & tell me you wouldn’t want something like that …..
….pictures that are gorgeous, beautiful, elegant, and also delivered with style.

Andrey+Alina: MARRIED | Utica, NY – August 8TH

I am super excited to have met Yuriy (http://yuriymanchik.com/).

Yuri is an awesome photographer & he was nice enough to take me as a second shooter for Andrey & Alina’s Wedding! I had a chance to hang out with him on Saturday & shoot the wedding on Sunday. Yuriy travels across the country to shoot weddings & events.  Please take this opportunity to visit his website & check out some of his work… Yuriy is also getting married in a couple of months & is planning a 6 month trip & plans to visit 6 countries. His bride, Julia Lukomsky, photographs along with him but could not make it where I was lucky enough to take her place at this wedding as a second shooter.

Julia is a very creative artist & also has her own blog  http://picturepartyblog.com/. Yuriy must be so happy that he will have a lifelong photography parter…It’s exciting to travel, shoot, & meet people together! Congrats to both of you & wish all the best for you Yuriy & Julia…

Yuriy was the main photographer at Andrey & Alina’s wedding & I went to the grooms home while Yuriy was shooting the bride. I was mostly helping out & taking pictures  as a second shooter. Here are some of the pictures that I took….

Nata - August 19, 2010 - 11:55 pm

Leo I just can’t get over what a FANTASTIC photographer you are… Wonderful, wonderful job on this wedding. Pictures look AMAZING and the bride and groom look gorgeous…

We’re Open!

OK guys! Finally back from vacation & back to work! Over this past week I have received over 200 e-mails…WOW! Lots of people want to know when they are going to  get their pictures, lots of people are interested in pricing, packages, & want to book me….I’m sorry that I have to say this but I am all b0oked up for the year! I have soo many weddings that I cannot keep up & everyone booking me for a wedding wants engagement pics plus invitations…..so I am way over my head with all the orders coming through!

I have a very busy month ahead of me…5 weddings in one month, plus engagements, plus invitations…I have one week that I will be shooting three weddings back to back…I am not sure how I will manage this but hopefully will still be alive after my 3rd day…

I also need time for God, my wife, & my precious 2 boys. Jake is beginning to crawl & its so exciting to see this  & just enjoy the time with him. Daniel is sooo much fun…Yesterday, I tought t him how to throw a frisbee & its soo cute….he takes it like a pro with his right hand, brings it around under the left arm & tries to throw it…its soo cute…I love what God has blessed me with.

Well just a few words that I am still alive & going back to work….Please be patient, I will respond to all e-mails one by one!

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Just finished up another wedding & meeting with clients tomorrow!:-)

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Here is an awesome shot of Jhonatan & Lidiya!

ROAD TRIP………Myrtle Beach, Here I come!

Vacation is here…..6 Places, 12 Days… & Myrtle beach vacation with the family…..This is exciting!

This is the longest & the first time for such a long trip with our family…

Jacob is only 7 months old & he is teething….so everyone knows how well that can go!

Daniel is 2 years old & he’s got a lot of energy in him just building up during the drive!

My wife is in school & has a major exam due the following day after we leave…(she has been in school for a long time & after this class she will get her bachelors in Nursing….then its onto her masters… so I’m really excited:-), I was always hoping to be a stay home dad & let my wife make the big bucks…lol…I’m joking,…I’m joking)

She is also scheduled to work on the weekend because her boss forgot to give her the time off.

I am behind 5 weddings, 2 family sessions, & an engagement session…

I am also the video director in our church & many videos need to be done!…

………..with this crazy, hectic, & fun life…….when I leave tomorrow…

……I will definitely enjoy every second of it…every moment of it…& definitely wont regret any of it (lets hope not):-)

why crazy…I sleep 4-5 hours a day at MAX (soo not healthy) because of the workload, & I still have to find time for family, friends,  & most importantly God)

why hectic…I am always on the run, trying to get things done, have 2 full time jobs,  still be a husband & family man, & there is NEVER enough time (anyone ever wish for extra 8-10 hours a day???)

why fun…this is me, I love it, I love to be busy, & yet have & enjoy all that God has given me & blessed me with!

Here is the plan…..

6 Couples, 2 condos (4 families in 1 condo), 6 days, 8 kids = what do you get…..not sure yet but I will definitely find out….This is going to be one big family vacation….There is one fairly young  couple that will be staying with us that are still expecting a child so hopefully after this trip…they will still be excited about having children…lol

I leave tomorrow (Wednesday June 30th) with one of my best friends (Viktor Makarchuk)  & we will be taking the longest, possibly the craziest road trip ever…with both having two young kids…its going to be tough….but we hope to get through it & enjoy it.

In Lexington, we hope to go to the zoo to relax & let the kids enjoy! So if there is anyone in Lexington KY reading this & is hoping to go to the zoo with us ….let us know…we are hoping to have great time… We will be there Thursday & Friday.

Again, we leave tomorrow…Arrive in Columbus OH the following day…then Lexington KY, then Chattanooga TN, then possibly Atlanta GA, Then finally Myrtle beach!

…then on the way back possibly stop by Virginia beach for a day to visit some family!

A long vacation but with the circumstances & the young kids, this is what we were able to come up with…:-)

We hope to enjoy some quality family time together!

Alex+Irina: MARRIED | Syracuse, NY – June 19th

When I arrived at Irina’s home early in the morning…she was nowhere to be found….I waited, & waited until one of the bridesmaids said “oh, she won’t be back for at least an hour”…I kind of didn’t know what to do….only 2 bridesmaids in the house & no one else….

We did not make plans to go where the groom stayed…Alex is from Sacramento, CA & when I found out where he was staying, I immediately got in my car & drove to the house. When I came in the house, I had come to find that all the boys were just relaxing…watching soccer…The limo is suppose to pick them up in about half an hour & they were watching the world cup series….

This was one of the few wedding where no one was in a rush…everything was relaxed…I mean, come on guys…. why stress, why rush, it’s a lot worse when everyone is running around trying to hurry up & then come to find they forgot to do this, or that…

As the boys got dressed, I was able to shoot some shots of them & hurry back to the bride’s house….the limo was suppose to pick the guys up at 10am & head over to the brides house, then head over to the church for the ceremony at 11am.

When I came to Irina’s house at 10:15am, she was still not back. About 40 minutes later, exactly 10 minutes to 11am, she finally showed up with such a big smile…but still no rush….man, I was loving it, no one was pushing me around, no one telling me take pictures here, take pictures there…I was there & Irina trusted me that I would do my job…& that’s what I love. We were only 15 minutes late to church & everyone soo relaxed…I gotta say this was the best relaxing wedding I’ve been to….its not worth it guys…its not worth getting angry, upset & all stressed out because of a few minutes or just because something is not working out…remember this is your day…where you should enjoy each other, appreciate each other, & enjoy everything you have, & enjoy the moment that God has given you to be with each other….when everything is in a rush – things tend to not work out, people get upset….I gotta say I give 2 thumbs up to Alex & Irina!:-)

I loved this wedding…even though these two couples lived on the opposite ends of the country; God had brought them together. God works in mysterious ways & He knows the best for each & every one of us & obviously he knew that these two lovebirds on opposite ends of the country were perfect for each other…

Wishing God’s blessing to Alex & Irina!

Guys…A lot of people have been saying that they are only able to see one image per wedding…. You will need to install Adobe Flash Player to view the slideshows on my website…The flash player is free to download:  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Ruslan+Natasha: MARRIED | Syracuse, NY – June 13th

When I was a young guy…I always wanted to get into something & have my own business. I was obviously very good with computers so I was fixing them left & right but it didn’t seem like there would be much business there. Then my mother bought me this old fashion video camera back in the late 90’s (we all know how good they were back then & how big). Nevertheless, I recorded almost every service in church, all the fun times with youth, & took it everywhere I went….this got me into videography & soon I was videotaping weddings…I didn’t mind doing this but it was like there was still something missing….so for about 10 years as a videographer I probably shot 20-30 weddings.

Then in the fall of 2008, one couple from local church had asked me to take their wedding pictures. They didn’t care about hiring a pro photographer & they just wanted pictures. This was my first wedding….I got soo excited & rented the best equipment at that time…and….  ++++++++++BOOM…it just exploded & I knew that photography was my thing. The wedding turned out soooo good that I can honestly say that I look back at my first wedding & I’m still proud at how the pics turned out.

I never thought that one day I will be a photographer & I will have my own photography business, and now I am turning down weddings left and right because I’m booked & I already have way to many!

Now with visitors all around the world…my work is becoming very popular. I currently have 54,300 page views since fall of 2009…..this is a total amount of how many times my website was viewed from 686 cities and 54 countries. Wow…this is amazing!

—————————————————————————————————————————

Now about Ruslan & Natasha’s wedding day…

Ruslan is actually a good friend of mine & every time he would come over my house,  I could see how happy he was & how he wanted to make everything perfect for Natasha.  This guy is really something. He bought a house like 2 months before the wedding…stripped the whole house to the 2×4’s & pretty much re-built it and re-modeled it from scratch. Now, the whole house is almost all done….its amazing what he did in the amount of time he had….& he still works full time at another job….He did an amazing job with his new home….Wow, Natasha is a lucky girl & she got herself a hard-working guy who cares a lot about her & obviously wants the best for her….Let me say that this guy has a heart and got some talent…

Ruslan, I have to apologize that I could not help you more…extremely busy wedding year!

The wedding started out really early in the morning… real cloudy…this is one of the best times for pictures when the sun is not beating down. Started out at the brides house…then went to the grooms house…then went back to the brides house, then went to the ceremony! I did a lot of driving around in the morning but its all worth it in the end… it was probably one of my longest weddings…started out at about 7:30am – 8:30pm… running 13 hours long. The longest wedding was in Atlanta that was about 14 1/2 hours long (for me as a photographer).

Natasha was extremely happy & could not stop smiling all day. We had sooo much fun with the wedding party….you can see for yourself from the pictures that the couple had lots of fun throughout the wedding day. There were two guys specifically who brought out the most fun times (Taras & Vanya – Thank you)…I think its important to have fun during the wedding. It’s the fun times that bring back good memories & good laughter.

Even though it was real cloudy & kind of gloomy the wedding turned out absolutely awesome & all thanks to Ruslan & Natasha who made it all possible….

Thank you guys for having me as a photographer & I hope you enjoy the photos!

To all:    Guys please leave comments, tips, & suggestions….I need all the feedback I can get.    Thank you!

Leonchik these pictures are just amazing! If everyone who got married had a photographer such as you I dont think we’d have anyone complaining about their wedding pictures. The way you work with the wedding party and the outcome of the pictures is just phenomenal! The poses, the lighting, and detail are just extraordinary. I don’t know how you capture every moments in such a way that the viewer feels as if they are actually there! You are just an amazing photographer!!!
